Refund Policy

Our policy on refunds and cancellations for the 2026 Governance Conference.

Last updated: September 2026

1. Cancellation by Delegate

Registration fees for the 2026 Governance Conference are generally non-refundable. Where a refund is permitted, the following schedule applies:

  • More than 30 days before the event: full refund, less any applicable administrative fee.
  • 15 to 30 days before the event: 50% refund of the registration fee.
  • Less than 15 days before the event: no refund.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to the Conference Secretariat. Refunds, where applicable, will be processed to the original payment method within 14 working days.

2. Substitutions

If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another delegate from the same organisation at no additional charge, subject to written notice to the Conference Secretariat at least 5 working days before the event. The substitute delegate must meet the Conference’s eligibility criteria.

3. Cancellation by the Organisers

If the Conference is cancelled by the Organisers for any reason, all registration fees will be refunded in full. The Organisers are not liable for any travel, accommodation or other incidental costs incurred by delegates. The Organisers may, at their discretion, offer a credit toward a future event in lieu of a refund.

4. Postponement or Modification

If the Conference is postponed or its format is materially changed (for example, moved to a virtual format), delegates will be offered the option to attend the rescheduled or revised event or to receive a refund. No additional compensation will be provided.

5. Force Majeure

The Organisers shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government action or other force majeure events. In such cases, refunds will be handled at the Organisers’ discretion.

6. Contact

For any refund or cancellation enquiries, please contact the Conference Secretariat via our Contact page.
